About Me

Luis Fabrega was born February 18, 1988 in Panama City, Panama, a small country located at the end of Central America.

Fabrega as a child was able to travel to many cities and countries at an early age. These traveling experiences made him become a visual individual.

He studied in a bilingual American high school called Balboa Academy, where he learned Spanish and English.  In his last years of high school he was very passionate about some of his courses like graphic design, philosophy, geography, government, history, and literature. These combinations of interests inspired him to discover that he wanted to major in something where he could influence people, send messages to society and change human behavior.

After high school graduation, Fabrega enrolled at Jacksonville University and double majored in Communications and Graphic Design. There he was a second- year Relay for Life team captain, vice president of the International Students Association, and a former member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Also, Fabrega managed to win along with his staff the highest honor a student publication can receive. An Associated Collegiate Press Award “Best of Show Four-Year Non-Weekly for the university’s newspaper called The Navigator.

In 2011, he went back to Panama where he worked as a Creative Producer for NEO! Creative Consulting, and J. Walter Thompson as a Creative Copywriter for Redbull, Panini, Michael Kors, and Digicel. After living a year and a half in the country he decided to go back to school to learn more about the craft of advertising.

Currently Fabrega attends Savannah College of Art & Design pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Advertising.  This summer, he did an internship as a Copywriter with The Richards Group, the largest independently owned agency in the U.S working with clients like The Home Depot, MetroPCS, QuickTrip, Bridgestone, and Advance Auto Parts.
